A lasting contribution to Oyster Bay.
Leonard Muise designed Oyster Bay’s original course and helped bring it to life through volunteer work and years of hands-on care. The club honors his contribution as an original builder and longtime steward of this free public course.
With two tees and two baskets on each hole, Oyster Bay gives players four standard ways to experience the shoreline—from a welcoming first round to a demanding test of placement and wind control.
From local fairways to the pro tour.
Based in Hayward, Leonard’s course design work includes Golden Gate Park, Monarch Bay, the SFO Open at Gleneagles, and the OTB Open at Swenson Park. Through Whirlwind Disc Golf, his work also connects players with equipment, events, and new places to play.
In 2024, Leonard was inducted into the World Disc Golf Hall of Fame, recognizing his contributions to course development and Northern California’s disc golf community.

A friendly round for all skill levels. Bring your club tag or buy one at the event.

Club BBQ & Picnic
Celebrate with players, families, friends and volunteers. Vegetarian options available. Please register for the food count.
- 6:00–9:00 PM
Dusk-to-Glow Space Ace Race
Approximately 12 short holes, two throws per target, and points for aces and metal hits. Bring glow discs, disc lights and a UV flashlight if you have them.
All times Pacific · Oyster Bay Regional Shoreline, San Leandro. Donations support new tee pads and course care.
